Outstanding service from the moment I booked my appointment until I picked up my vehicle. Friendly service & super clean shop. They reached out via text with pictures of the problem and what they are going to do to repair it. They washed and vacuumed my vehicle as well and have the best thank you chocolates ever !!! Came here because my back door wasn’t closing properly. Very helpful and efficient service. Stepped away for 30 mins and they fixed it. did not even charge for the service. Props to Ben, very friendly and professional. will definitely recommend this place!

These guys are the best. They know their stuff and they are fast, thorough, and professional. Top marks!Here's a quick update: the management has changed, but the outstanding service remains. I recently had my truck in the shop for a mysterious ignition problem. Ben and his crew figured it out, made the necessary repairs in good time, and now my 2002 F-150 is running like new. The price of the repair was reasonable, and Ben did not try to upsell me. I appreciate that respect. When I picked up my truck, it was immaculately clean, inside and out. Jem Grip Auto has been taking good care of my truck for years, and I will continue to trust them to do a great job. I highly recommend Jem Grip Auto. They have continued the excellence I've come to expect. Six out of five stars!

I would recommed Grip Tire & Auto. I was having issues with a clogged catalytic converter. Since there were few aftermarket catalytic converters available Ben kindly offered me the use of one of there courtesy vehicles for a few days. Eventually the part was found and brought in. My car is functioning now properly and I really appreciated the kind help from Ben and all the technicians that worked on my car. Oh and the courtesy chocolate that they gave me once the work was complete was great.If you have issues with your vehicle trust Grip Tire & Auto to fix it and enjoy the kind service and chocolate. 🙂

My wife and I have had our car in for servicing with Ben and his staff, on a couple of occasions. We have been very happy with the service and the knowledge of the staff. Ben has been very pleasant and has also been able to service our car on short notice. We also appreciated their honest approach to what work was truly needed and they didn't try to "upsell" us. We left their shop feeling very satisfied with the work done on our vehicle.

Took my vehicle there after a few failed attempts by other shops to fix my coolant leak and to diagnose a “knocking sound” when driving.Ben was able to squeeze me in last second and kept me up to date with everything that was found. My coolant leak was fixed and the “knocking sound” was determined to be a bent rim, which will be fixed through warranty. Ben and the rest of the staff, were courteous and professional throughout the whole process, and the company’s use of Uber to get me home after dropping off my vehicle was world-class. I’ll definitely be using this shop as my place of maintenance for my two vehicles from now on. Keep up the good work.

As someone who dosn't know much about cars, I feel very at ease bringing my car to this auto shop. I moved to the province last year and Andy was very kind to me, explaining everything I needed to do to get my car in shape and registered in the province. All the employees working here are very nice and explain everything well. I will always return to this shop as I trust them a lot. Highly recommended!!

I am so grateful that grip auto was recommended to me. This is a team of amazing humans. They took my car in under emergency circumstances and got it back up and running in a quick time frame. They are highly knowledgeable and extremely personable. This is the place that I will be bringing my car to from now on and since I bought a lemon I have a feeling we will see a lot of each other.

I’ve bought a couple sets of tires from Jen Grip Auto over the past 5 years. Friendly service, helpful with last minute emergencies.Today I got a full flat tire while I was near the shop, brought it in right away (on Friday afternoon of a summer holiday weekend). Went away for 2 hours and when I returned to pick up my car they had repaired the tire, washed and vacuumed my car and didn’t charge me a thing.I almost fell on the floor.Thank you so much! 😀

Jem Grip Auto is best place to repair your car. They are super professional and knows everything inside and out.They are the only people who could fix my car's AC (I visited 3 different places).The staff (Ben was the best!) are very kind and helpful. Called them to install a hitch and electrical for my car. Installed quickly even though they had to work around the tight spaces on my RAV4. Washed and vacuumed the car. Even left chocolates for me. Will return for sure

Jem Auto has given me (by far!) the best service I’ve ever received from a mechanic shop. The staff are knowledgeable and honest, and the pricing is transparent. I especially appreciate the condition reports, which detail the results of their inspection of common maintenance items and their recommendations. I’ve always received sound advice and have never felt pressured. I have referred family and friends to Jem - their experiences have been equally positive. My mom recently called the shop and spoke to Ian, who spent the time to troubleshoot her concerns and reassure her. She was very impressed. Ben recently worked with me to fit a service appointment around my work schedule. When I thanked the team for their great work, they said “we really pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service”. It certainly shows! I was told by another company that I needed ball joint repair. The guys at Grip inspected my truck and said that this was not necessary. Instead, they found the problem to be defective tires. They installed two new tires and I was back on the road in a few hours. This was my first time using these guys but they were professional all they way. They even provided me with a courtesy vehicle. Very Happy 😃

I've taken my vehicles to Jem GRiP Auto Coquitlam a number of times now. They are fair with the prices and even saved me some dollars on the overall bill when some unexpected issues needed to be addressed. I've always felt treated well by Ian, Andy, and Doug, and I'm sure by the others that work there too, I just don't know all of their names. Great place to take your car for service!

The folks at Jem Grip Auto Tire are fair and honest. Always do their best to inform me on maintenance of my vehicles. At my last oil change they caught a repair and recommended I go to the vehicle manufacturer to see if my vehicle warranty covered the repairs! They are dependable and care about their customers.

I must admit I am not knowledgeable when it comes to the intricacies of a car. I leave that up to JEM. This is why I rely on the knowledgeable efficiency and honest upfront way the JEM team have been servicing my cars. I have been bringing my vehicles for the past many years to them. I do not live in close proximity any longer to their shop, but the trip is worth it for my peace of mind. We brought in a truck from Saskatchewan that needed to be safety inspected and they staff was very good and gave us a very detailed report showing what was urgently needed and what was not. Got the windshield replaced and tires replaced. Very happy with their quality of work and professionalism. Definitely recommend them.

Friendly and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else. All the staff work as a great team to make sure everything is done perfectly. They have helped me through some tough car choices to my new car . Pricing is reasonable and the products used match the needs the car without going overboard. My tire unfortunately popped while I was driving, luckily it was right outside of Grip Auto and I was able to pull over and park outside of their establishment for the night. I called in the morning to let them know my car was there and they put together a quote for me for 4 new tires as I was planning on getting new ones soon anyways. When I got there Friday afternoon we went over the quote (Ian specifically spoke to me about the difference types of tires and found 4 of them within my $500 budget - his customer service is excellent) they mentioned it took a day to get the new tires in and because it was almost the long weekend they wouldnt have them in until Tuesday. I still had a popped tire and needed to get around, so they did whatever they could to make sure I was driving off their lot. They offered me multiple options (one of which was taking their courtesy car for the weekend) but we ended up taking my tires off my car and putting on spares that they had in the shop so that I could drive my own car! They didnt charge me to take the tires off/put back on and they didnt have to do this, I found them extremely helpful, informative & knowledgeable! They were amazed at how bad my tires were and I wish I would have went to them sooner. They saved my thanksgiving weekend and I am so excited to get my brand new tires tomorrow! :)Thanks Jem Grip Auto!

I started going to Jem 7 years ago. They have been great! Honest. Reliable, can get us in quickly and do great work. They have saved us so much money over the years, something I never thought I’d say about a mechanic.When we take the cars in, even if it’s just for an oil change or switch tires over, they always check everything and let us know of potential problems or upcoming work and Ian is great at giving us options to save money.We took our car in because the brakes were squeaking and thought they needed to be replaced. Jem checked them, cleaned them and called us to let us know the brakes were still good, just dirty and didn’t charge us for the appointment. Which is one example of why we trust them.They are very friendly and go above and beyond what you would expect from your mechanic. we will never go anywhere else.As a woman, going to the mechanic can be a stressful time. Ian and the guys there have always made me feel comfortable and are super helpful with any little question or concern I have.

I’m always skeptical where I bring my vehicles and being a tow truck driver even more so when I recommend a place to my customers these guys are fantastic they fixed my old prized civic up and although it had some hiccups at first it runs like a champ now I always bring my cars here I wouldn't pick anywhere else and that will continue into the future thanks to Ian and the rest of the guys for all there hard work I’m sure I’ll see you again 👍

Heading out of town for a weekend gettaway we needed air in the tire but it wouldn't stay full so we popped in with no appointment. Ben sqeezed us in and took the construction screw out and got us on the road again in 15 min and gave us a caramilk, nut chocolate to boot. Best service around!

I had a noise coming from the suspension on my 2011 X3. I was concerned it would cost me big $.
They took my vehicle in right away.
They found a loose bolt on the swaybar link. They re-torqued some other suspension hardware, washed my vehicle inside and out, and even shined up the tires.
